Can I add the calendar drop down to a custom field in QuickBooks Enterprise?

I have added a custom field called "PO Date" to our Packing List Template, and we would like to have the little calendar drop down, like it has for the "Due Date" field

Hello there, W012.

 

You were correct in stating that custom fields can be added while generating a printing packing list. However, it seems that custom fields cannot be added when creating a transaction.

 

I know how convenient and time-saving it is to have it added, to QuickBooks Desktop. I highly recommend sending your feedback to QuickBooks so our developer may analyze and include your suggestions in future releases.

 

To submit feedback, here's how:

 

  1. Choose the Help option.
  2. Select the Send Feedback Online option.
  3. And then choose the Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window displays.
  4. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  5. Then Send Feedback button.

No. Custom fields can be "typed" as dates, but they won't have the little date pick list widgit.
