Customize "from" email id to my any other email id (organization email) while sending the invoices to clients.

While sharing invoices to client, is there any way that I can customize the "From" email as my organization email id? Because currently it always sends from QB email i.e. [email address removed].

I have also tried adding my Gmail account but still client receives with the above QB email,. not my id.

Great work on adding your Gmail account to QuickBooks, @Shifa. Let's go over to Settings to change the invoice email.

We can update the email on your sales forms to your Gmail address. This way, QuickBooks will stop using the default email when sending invoices. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Account and settings.
  2. On the Company page, choose Contact info.
  3. Enter your company email, then click Save.

If you'd like to remove the Gmail address moving forward, check out this guide: Use your Gmail address to send invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Thanks for the quick response..

Even after adding my org email under settings, it still sends invoices using QB mail id.. You can refer to screenshot. It is adding the email id in invoice pdf but not in "from field" in send pop up.

Also, after adding gmail account, still the same issue.

Thank you for getting back to the thread, @Shifa.

Let me add more details about your concern about customizing the email when sending an invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, changing the email address in the From section when sending invoices is unavailable since it's a default email address, which is quickbooks@notification.intuit.com. It is to protect your account and prevent security risks. Suspicious email can sometimes be a scheme to get your info. However, you can add a Gmail address if you have one.

Here's how:

  1. Create an invoice or open an existing one.
  2. Once you fill out the necessary fields, select Save and Send to open the preview window.
  3. Above the customer’s email, select the From dropdown.
  4. Select Add Gmail address, then Connect Google account.
  5. Enter your Gmail address and your Gmail password, then select Next.
  6. Then, select Allow.

For additional details, see this link:  Use your Gmail address to send invoices.

Moreover, you'll want to send feedback to our product development team regarding this option. That way, they can investigate further about the option and may add it to future product updates. See the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Feedback.
  3. Type in your product suggestions, then click Next to submit feedback.

You can visit our QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website to track the status of your submitted feedback.
