Background:
1. We have QB Online. We have a 3PL that uses True Commerce.
2. Currently, we send our Customer PO's to our 3PL for fulfillment.
3. We manually check what the 3PL has fulfilled and manually raise an invoice against what was shipped against a specific PO.
- QB Online adjusts inventory based on what is invoiced and what is received
4. The problem we have is that the 3PL automatically fulfills any backordered items. Often times we miss these fulfillments and forget to invoice the customer. This lapse also affects the prevalent inventory status in QB Online
Future State:
a. We want our invoices to be automically generated based on actual fulfilments rather than us having to check the 3PL's fulfilment portal
- Also automatically invoice fulfilled backorders and automatically decrement QB inventory
b. We want our inventory adjusted based on actual units fulfilled and invoiced
Question:
a. Is QB Online capable of the above ? Could it be done with the aid of a canned integration-software ?
b. Is QB Enterprise capable of doing this ?
