Join nowHello,
After having a bit of trouble with my QB Desktop Pro 2020, I will give a try to the Online Solopreneur version.
I've never done payroll or needed to connect to financial institutions (always been a solopreneur) so my question is, will I be able to import the company file from the desktop to the online version?
Thank you for your help,
Marty
You can use the online tool to export data to QB Online, not QB Solopreneur.
QBSP is a stand-alone product, the replacement for QBSE.
Hi there, @gnocchi.
Let me provide information about importing your company file from the desktop to QuickBooks Solopreneur.
Currently, the option to import company files directly to QuickBooks Solopreneur is unavailable. However, you can export your company files from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
To move your desktop file to QBO. Follow the steps below:
6. Enter Agree in the text field, then select Replace.
7. Select Yes, go ahead and replace the data, then select Replace.
For more detailed information, refer to this article: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QBO.
I'll also add this article to help you know more about the features and data from QBDT and QBO: Features and data.
Feel free to click the Reply button below if you have other questions about importing company files from the desktop to QBO. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.
