QBO and Multiple Units of Measure

Does Intuit have any plans to ever allow inventory with multiple units of measure in QBO, without the need for 3rd party solutions?

QBO and Multiple Units of Measure

UoM is an expensive feature. Using a 3rd party app is the only solution. Otherwise, you should consider switching to QB Desktop Premier or Enterprise.

QBO and Multiple Units of Measure

We understand the convenience of adding multiple units of measures to your inventory in QBO, kparsons0802.

This feature is not yet an option in QuickBooks and is only possible using a 3rd-party application.

Thus, please know that our product developers are working towards improving our product for the benefit of its users. With this, I'd suggest sending feedback to them so they can consider adding this feature in future updates.

To do so, we can follow the steps below:

  1. Log in with your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon (), then click Feedback.
  3. Enter your product comments and suggestions, then select Next to submit.

In addition, once you set up all your inventory products, you can track them when they sell in QBO. You can check the articles below about the ways on how to track you sell:

You could always reach out here in the Community space if you have additional concerns with your inventory in QuickBooks. We'll make sure you're taken care of.
