Quickbooks Online made a new layout and its not working. As always Quickbooks is not testing their products fully as the new layout to Quickbooks Online is breaking Quickbooks mobile app. As we are their beta testers at our expense. When you switch from old layout to new layout and go to the mobile app which is the reason why I pay monthly for the subscription here's what happends:
1) You lose the class field, which is very important to us as this is how we know who typed up the invoice.
2) You can't go back to an invoice and make edits as we need to do all the time when things change.
3) When sending the invoice the option to pay with a credit card is not seen on the invoice. Which we get calls from our clients that they want to pay the invoice and no option for the credit cards are there.
When we switch back from new layout to old layout the options return in the mobile app side.
Once again Quickbooks. Before you make a significant change to the software? Test your software fully before rolling it out and STOP making us be the beta testers on your behalf.

This dedicated platform allows our developers to review and prioritize requested features and improvements based on customer input.
I also understand that your primary method for invoicing is through the QBO mobile app. However, you can temporarily utilize the web-based version of QBO as an alternative while improvements are being made to the invoicing feature.

For the past 3 weeks I have consistently posted to the feedback for the developers to update. Every day I sent the same post about Quickbooks mobile app breaking due to the new update. Now that the new update has been rolled out without "ANY CONSIDERATION" to your subscribers. The Class field is broken and not there on the mobile app. So that means all the posts about the class field have fallen on deaf non-caring ears.
SHAME ON YOU QUICKBOOKS.!!!
Another long time user here and to put it frankly your testing/validation process is hot garbage. We are another group that relies on class information PER LINE ITEM in order to compensate our employees correctly. The class is NOT available anywhere on the invoice itself, and now means all class based reporting is useless because that class cannot be put in by the employee entering the line item. I guess it makes perfect sense to have someone else put in that class information really. I mean I certainly have nothing better to do than talk to every employee about every line item on EVERY INVOICE and determine which class that should belong to.
Now you add insult to injury with a response to the issue that essentially says "you can request this feature". This is a feature that we have already had, paid for, and I suspect many folks have data and reporting wrapped around. You are a multi billion dollar company that has one job, don't break things. Do better.
