Buy nowI have just gotten a new computer with windows 11. I have the Quickbooks 2000 Windows 95/98 NT 4.0 or higher disk to install. I have registraiton number and serial number. I can not get it to upload. What do you suggest? I keep my record keeping for our business on this and our bank accounts.
Hello, Lmlight.
Appreciate your effort in raising your concern here in the Community, I'd be glad to give some insights with regard to this issue.
QuickBooks 2000 is incompatible with windows 11, and attempting to run it on this operating system will lead to issues.
However, you can try consulting an IT expert if the installer file can be ran via compatibility mode in your W11 machine. Your IT can also suggest other alternatives in case the installer file won't work.
In case if the installer file will work, instead of copy/pasting the license and serial numbers during the installation wizard, you can try manually typing in the license and serial numbers instead.
If you have other questions and concerns, our Community Team is always here to assist you.
Your QB Desktop 2000 is ancient and I'm not sure you can still run it even in compatibility mode on Win 11. You should contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA via email directly and request QB Desktop 2019 or later with a one-time license to upgrade your data.
