Hi QBO community -- has anyone synced bill.com to QBO and used it for job costing? Were you able to get the customer, job, class, and other items over to quickbooks? Looking to run about 100 transactions per month and hoping to hear good things about the integration of bill.com to qbo
Does it also auto match up to the bank account?
Thank you for reaching out to us, TD36.
Yes, Bill.com can be seamlessly integrated with QuickBooks Online (QBO) to facilitate job costing efficiently. According to the Bill.com website, their platform can easily sync with your accounting software, including QBO. This integration allows you to transfer essential details such as customer, job, class, and other items, to ensure accurate job costing records.
As for the auto-matching of transactions to your bank account, QBO provides a feature called Bank Feeds. While Bill.com and QBO work together to streamline your financial processes, auto-matching to your bank account is primarily handled within QBO through Bank Feeds.
To ensure a smooth experience, make sure that your bank accounts are connected to QBO, and transactions will be automatically matched based on the bank rules you set up. If you have specific criteria for auto-matching, you can customize your Bank Feeds settings accordingly.
Moreover, I also recommend reaching out bill.com support if you need further assistance with configuring settings and setup for a successfully syncing of your information details to QBO.

What kind of business do you run? Field service, contractor, or else? You may need another app as the connector.
@4Gal Hi there -- it is a professional services business.
I'm hearing from bill.com that I might not have the bill.com level to do something. 2 way vs 1 way with the customer info having already been in QBO, for bill to be created in bill.com and transfer over to QBO with customer and job (sub customer)
