We have a mobile scanner to pick and pack orders, but we also got it to do assemblies from. We would need to import them into quickbooks. Was told we can do that now being told we can't. This has been a nightmare program to work with from the start. Is there a 3rd party app or something to make this work. It was a big part of using Quickbooks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, @angel511. Thanks for reaching out about your experience with QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). I can see that you’re navigating some hurdles with your mobile scanner and assembly imports. In the meantime, I suggest manually adding your assemblies in QBDT. For detailed guidance, visit this article: Combine your inventory items to build finished goods (assemblies).
Alternatively, you can explore third-party applications that integrate with QBDT in our app store. Our website features a variety of options that may cater to your specific needs, such as inventory management systems and import tools.

You can prepare your Item Assembly data with the following template

Kit1 | General Sales | Cost of Goods Sold | Inventory Asset | 56 | Sample Kit | 90 | Sample Kit | Carpeting | 1
Kit1 | General Sales | Cost of Goods Sold | Inventory Asset | 56 | Sample Kit | 90 | Sample Kit | Pad | 1
Kit2 | General Sales | Cost of Goods Sold | Inventory Asset | 60 | Sample Kit | 105 | Sample Kit | Wood Door | 1
Kit2 | General Sales | Cost of Goods Sold | Inventory Asset | 60 | Sample Kit | 105 | Sample Kit | Toilet | 1
Kit2 | General Sales | Cost of Goods Sold | Inventory Asset | 60 | Sample Kit | 105 | Sample Kit | Sink | 1 |
then use TP Importer to proceed. It's $199 one time license and you can get $100 cashback to purchase via a partner.

All we are looking for is to do our assemblies from the mobile computer we have a TC26. Will this program work with that?
You need to prepare your data manually from TC26 and use the importer tool to proceed. If you have more budget ($1695 per mobile device, perpetual license), you may consider using a 3rd party inventory management app to integrate with Zebra devise using Datawedge Profile.
