How can I add new payment terms (ie., 2% 10, Net 30) as an invoice option?
The only terms I see are not what I want.
Welcome to the Community, @jzehr39158.
Let me guide you on adding new payment terms (ie., 2% 10, Net 30) as an invoice option in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
To add 2% 10 in invoice payment option is not yet available. However, you can still you can still opt for a Net 30 term for your invoice. To do so, follow these steps on how to set up and manage payment terms:
1. Click on the Gear icon in your QBO account.
2. Select Account and Settings, and then click the Sales tab
3. In the Sales tab, locate the Sales form content. Then select the pencil icon.
4. Then in Sales form content section, change the Preferred invoice terms you like.
Tip: Here are some examples of names you can use. You can also add new ones if you'd like to customize them:
5. Once you're ready, click Save.
After setting up the terms, you can proceed to set payment terms for your invoices. You can adjust invoice payment terms directly on the invoice form itself. This will only apply changes locally to that specific invoice – you'll need to go into settings to change the default.

Just to clarify, Quickbooks does not have a 2% Net option for invoicing? Seems like a pretty important feature for an accounting platform to have.
Hello there, Thomaswater.
As my colleague mentioned, you can manually add a 2% discount to the invoice when creating a transaction. However, it is not yet possible to add a 2% 10 discount to an invoice payment.
I know how convenient and time-saving it is to have it added, to QuickBooks Online. I highly recommend sending your feedback to QuickBooks so our developer may analyze and include your suggestions in future releases.
