Buy nowFolks, I know it won't matter, but I seriously need to raise a complaint about QBO's AI implementation. The business of our nonprofit is simple in many respects, but its financial reporting needs are custom and complex. Intuit is essentially ruining my QBO productivity (and therefore my precious customer experience) with its AI bs. My simple dashboard? Gone; now I have to wait for it to "intuit" and calculate all the dashboard nonsense that has nothing to do with my work. My trusty weekly expense reports? Unavailable. Inexplicably, I can no longer run a report of all open expenses since, for instance, last summer. These are the two most important (read: disruptive) issues. I'm sure I could find others.
Hi Kgatmec, the AI features in QuickBooks are designed to automate tedious manual bookkeeping tasks, enhance data accuracy, and provide actionable financial insights.
Since the AI feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO) can't be disabled, I recommend sending feedback to our Product Development team. Your input could drive improvements in workflows and lead to better solutions in the future.
Regarding the Dashboard, you can customize the widgets on your QBO's home page by adding or removing those that suit your needs.
Here’s how:
To locate your weekly expense reports and run all the open expense reports from last summer, you can use the Transaction Detail by Account report. Please follow these steps:
To locate the expense reports for last summer, follow the same steps mentioned above and set the report period to Custom dates. You can also save the report if you wish.
For the weekly expense reports that are already memorized, you can email your memorized reports on a recurring schedule in QBO and set it to Weekly.
If you have any other questions or concerns about QBO, please let us know. We’re always here to help!
I used to be able to go to Expenses (which I had bookmarked for ease of access) and click on All Open Items. That's it. Two clicks. No complicated reports to design. No recurring automated messages and reports to create and send and monitor and manage. See how the AI "solution" is LESS helpful and LESS simple and MORE time consuming?
