I have a customer running Quickbooks Enterprise 2022. They use Quickbooks Desktop Statement Writer. Starting on August 1st 2023 at midnight UTC, the Quickbooks Desktop Statement Writer stopped launching and began throwing an error message. The error popup is a familiar one. "An application with a revoked certificate is requesting access to the following QuickBooks company file" And the The certificate was revoked by its certification authority.
Has anyone seen this particular issue? This one is different than the issue facing users with the Quickbooks Web Connector certificate expiring on 8-22-23.
I'm having the same issue and have not found a solution yet.
I appreciate you for letting us know about your concerns, @Blitzfan and @lmccor2895. Let me provide some information about the issue you encountered with revoked certification in QuickBooks Statement Writer (QSW).
Currently, there has been an increase in reports within QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) regarding revoked certificates. Upon investigating, we've determined that the root cause of this problem lies in an expired application certification. Rest assured that our technical team is actively addressing this by updating the certificates in a new installer and putting forth dedicated efforts to find a solution.
In the meantime, I recommend following the steps outlined in this article to resolve the error message: How to fix the error QuickBooks - Application with Revoked Certificate.

We also have this problem still. I just ran the updates just notified of from the status page, on 2021 2022 and 2023 QBD, and already have all three QBWebconnector files from the 'fix', and gone through that replacement. Still have the same error.
My customer reported that an update was release last night, 8/24-25 that has resolved the issue with the Statement Writer in Quickbooks Enterprise version 22. And I can confirm that the update did work. The update also appears to include a update for Quickbooks Desktop Statement Writer to version 14.0.1.0.
