Referral

Are there any "event triggers" in QBO? We offer a customer referral program - the referring customer gets a percentage of every sale when the referred customer makes a payment. I know how to create the credit memo, but I don't want it created until a payment has been received. Ideally I would like to set up some type of recurring transaction - whenever a payment is received by customer 'a', a credit memo is created for customer 'b'. Next best scenario would be for a reminder or some type of notification sent - letting me know that customer 'a' made a payment. At least I would know the event happened, rather than have to remember to manually search every month for any payments made by any referred customers.
