Saving estimate/invoice in Quickbooks Desktop for Mac

My company prefers that we save estimates/invoices as a PDF and then email them manually to each client. Previously, when saving as a PDF, the title of the file would auto generate as "Company Name - Estimate 1234". For some reason, now it only auto generates "Estimates". I'm hoping this is a setting I can adjust somewhere, I just can't figure out where the setting is. I've looked through the Quickbooks Desktop for Mac preferences, my company preferences, and my Mac's settings. If anyone has any insight as to how to program this to auto generate the estimate number in the file name when saving, it would be a huge help.

Saving estimate/invoice in Quickbooks Desktop for Mac

It's nice to have you here today, Transplants_Inc_Admin. I can help you save your estimates/invoices as PDFs with the desired file name from QuickBooks. Let me share some steps to auto-generate the transaction number accordingly.

I want you to know that setting up the file name to detect "Company Name - Estimate 1234" is already related to PDF functionality. I appreciate your effort in exploring the Desktop (QBDT) for Mac's preferences and your software's settings. However, I recommend seeking assistance from an IT professional to help you properly configure and review your PDF settings to set the file names of your transactions accordingly.

Alternatively, you can seek help by posting your concerns on PDF-related websites. Experts in the field can provide guidance and support in adjusting the file names of your PDF data.

On the other hand, I'm adding this material for more hints while working with your estimate entries in our system: Create an estimate in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
