Buy nowI think that you should allow anyone who used quickbook to have access to their files for more than 1 year. They may not.be able to change anything but should have access to the files for an unlimited time in case they need to look at something that was several years old.
It's crazy that everything has to be a subscription amd if you don't pay you completely lose access. That is ridiculous
Small business can not afford quickbooks anore. Online or desktop. Prices are insane and unjustified
You can use the trial version of QB Desktop 2024 Enterprise to access your historical data for good if required. You should contact Fiat Lux for details.
There's a simple explanation. These people, Intuit, are thieves and among the greediest of the greedy in this country. I stopped using their payroll and invoicing several years ago when they started with this "subscription" crap. There are only two of us, we use an old Desktop version, and we're NOT going to pay these thieves any more money. There are plenty of other ways to create our invoices and the guidelines on what to withhold for payroll are easily found. We also have found another provider to do 940, 941, W-2, W-3, and many other forms that we used to do in QB. It's at tax1099(dot)pro and their user interface is really good.
This is about more than "profit". It's pure greed. Intuit already owns a lot more products than I ever imagined -- they own Credit Karma (when I found out, I unsubscribed), they own Mint, they own (obviously) Turbotax, and a bunch of other stuff. They're simply thieves.
