In QuickBooks Online, you can only add up to two garnishment items for your employee. For additional garnishment items, you can set up an Other deduction in the Deductions and Contributions section, Terry.
Here's how:
- In your Dashboard, go to the Payroll menu.
- Select Employees, then click on the name of the employee for whom you want to set up additional garnishment items.
- Look for the Deductions and Contributions and hit Edit.
- Select + Add deduction/contribution from the Deductions and contributions option.
- From the Deduction/contribution type, select Other Deduction.
- From Type, select Other after tax deductions.
- Enter other necessary details.
- Click Save and Done.
