Yes, you can view the direct deposit status after you run payroll, Cpan2013. Let me walk you through the steps to achieve this.

Once you've processed a direct deposit for your employees and ensured that your company's bank account has enough funds, the direct deposits should go through successfully.

To view your direct deposit status, navigate to the Paycheck list. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu and pick the Employees tab.
  2. Select your employee.

    3. From the Paycheck list tab, view your direct deposit status in the Status section.

Here are the terms used and their system definitions:

  • Scheduled: we have everything we need to send this check to the bank and pay this employee.
  • Processed: we already sent this employee’s paycheck info to the bank, and the employee will be paid by the end of the day.
  • Returned: There is an issue with your employee's bank account that prevents the direct deposit payment.
  • Canceled: Direct Deposit isn't included for this specific paycheck.
  • If you see no status displayed, a paper check was issued.

You can explore this article to learn when to send your direct deposit payroll to pay your employees on time. You can schedule and submit your payroll according to your direct deposit lead time.

I'll also include these articles to learn more about direct deposit limits and how to handle unreceived direct deposits for employees.
