The After-the-Fact Payroll feature is available for QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Enhanced. We can check the payroll subscription if it's an Enhanced Accountant or if there were any changes made to your payroll subscription.
We can go to Payroll menu and click Manage service key. I've added a screenshot for your reference.
If you're not using the Enhanced for accountant, you have to option to use the YTD adjustment. Let's enter your prior payroll by following the steps below:
- Go to the Help menu
- Choose About QuickBooks.
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Y or Ctrl + Shift + Y to open the Setup YTD Amounts window.
