Anyone else experiencing delays in receiving their direct deposit

Deposit usually hits my account between 530-630AM Eastern time. Is anyone else experiencing delays?

Anyone else experiencing delays in receiving their direct deposit

I appreciate you reaching out here in the Community, Thumbs.

Direct deposits processed through QuickBooks Online Payroll usually arrive in employee accounts between 5:30 and 6:30 AM Eastern Time, as you noted. Although delays are rare, some factors could potentially cause them. These include the bank processing time, federal holiday schedules, weekends, and the timing of submissions.

Some banks may occasionally experience delays due to system updates, internal processes, or high transaction volumes. We suggest reaching out to your bank to confirm if there are ongoing maintenance or processing delays that could affect your deposit.

Next, if your payroll is processed around state or federal holidays, or on weekends, it may affect when your direct deposits arrive, as Intuit does not process payroll on those days. You may refer to this article to check the federal holiday schedule: How do federal holidays affect my direct deposit?

Then, ensure your direct deposit runs as expected. We suggest double-checking that your payroll was approved and submitted before the deadline, and confirm that your employee’s account details in QuickBooks are accurate. You can refer to this article: When to send your direct deposit payroll.

If you are still encountering delays or the deposit still hasn’t arrived, I recommend reaching out to the Payroll Support team for assistance. They can check your account in a safe environment and provide additional insight and a solution.
