Hi navigatecare!

Welcome and thank you for posting today!

There are conditions that need to be met to qualify on our surveys. However, for security reasons, only our research team has this information. You can try again next, but thank you for participating though.

Feel free to reach out if you have questions regarding our QuickBooks products. Have a good one!

Acknowledge, however, this should be stated and there should be screening completed PRIOR to someone completing the entire survey. This was entirely misleading.

7 months later the survey is not any better. No statement about needing to qualify. And now if you don't qualify it just quits. No explanation, nothing. How stupid do you need to be to create a survey like this. It is almost as if your competitors created it to give you bad press.

Curious also what the qualifiers would be.  I just received the survey and sailed through it to the end.  Gift card on its way.

Welcome to the Community, @gilleebeens.

Let me share some insights about the survey with a $15 gift card and the qualifiers or eligibility of the promotion.

Our Marketing team manages this survey. The basis of the eligibility is on the customer's profile.

To know more about the promotion's eligibility, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support team. They are the best people to answer your questions about this.

Here's how:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard.
  2. Select Talk to a Human.
  3. Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Contact Us to connect with our live support.
  6. Choose to Get a callback.

Also, you can visit our Video tutorials for QuickBooks Online page to watch step-by-step videos about tips and tricks in using QuickBooks. It helps you mastered navigating the program.

If you need additional assistance, you can click the Reply button below. I'm always around to help.

How do we know this is a legit survey or a spoof?

Thanks for joining this discussion, @Rochelle_. The survey is legitimate and you can trust it.

If you're not sure you've completed everything, retaking the test is a good idea. You can also contact our QuickBooks Support team to confirm.

Moreover, I'd recommend looking through our Help articles page to pick up a few pointers on how to best manage your QuickBooks account.

Please come back to let us know how you're doing on the survey. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask again. Take care!

Yes. Then I thought I got scammed because I answered gender and age questions, then work status- didn’t even list self-employed small business, which a good share of us are.  Then asked what my responsibilities are- everything for a small business owner.  And then they said no more questions. It wasn’t 15 minutes and there was no card.
I thought it was a scam and started researching.
Qb, you are ridiculous.  If I had more time, I’d research other programs for my business. A scammer got my info from your board when I had to post because it was near impossible to talk to someone. Then I almost got hacked!  The fact that I spend $70/ mo and can’t talk to an actual person on the rare occasions I need to, makes your customer service philosophy SUCK! Please use Discover as a model- love them a 1000x’s over for instantly getting to talk to a person and be off the phone in 5 min!  Loyalty for life if they keep that!
I took that stupid survey to hopefully offer good feedback because I see reports that don’t work right and have a wish list.  Now, I’m pissed and spent a half hour researching this scam and ranting.  I would like my $15 gift card please.

oh, and you gave a pop up survey for the end of my time here- it didn’t even let me click Next.
🙄

This is bs. I got the $25 gift card invite. Took the survey, gave them all the info they wanted, then it said Unqualified. So you get the info you want from us for free.

EXACTLY what happens every single time!  That's why I asked if it was a scam!

It is a scam. Many companies do this to get the initial info you input, which is all they really are looking for. Too bad Quickbooks has no integrity. Not only are they upping Subscription prices with no real new benefits, but they are scamming people for info on top of it. Bad practice.
