Join nowWe're changing how we handle automated taxes for QuickBooks Online Payroll customers. Instead of automatically withdrawing and paying payroll taxes when due, we’ll automatically withdraw taxes every time payroll is processed or when there’s a change in what you owe.
And on October 1, 2024, this change will take place for existing customers who employ their entire workforce in the following 11 states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, KS, NC, NV, TN, TX, and VA.
What about the states not listed above. Do they remain the same for existing users - taxes paid when due?

You're correct, @RJeffery. States that aren't mentioned in this communication will continue to submit payroll tax payments and filings on or before their due dates based on each agency’s lead time.
These changes will take effect on October 1, 2024, for existing customers in the eleven states you've mentioned above. Moreover, every customer who's part of this change will receive proper communication through their email, and streamed notifications will be posted.
Rest assured, customers in the remaining states will be notified before the change takes place in the coming months.
Additionally, if you require a review of your past payroll tax payments and forms, you can visit this informative article: View your previously filed tax forms and payments.

@RoseJillB Reiterating what the OP posted isn't helpful. They didn't ask for affirmation.
