Bank Sync

I’ve got you covered, @Vmercedes1111.

When you connect your online banking to QuickBooks, the transactions aging within 90 days will automatically sync to your banking menu. Otherwise, you will have to manually import them to your company file. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate your cursor to the Profile icon and select Imports.
  2. Press the Import transactions.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload your CSV file. Then, click Import.

I also added this article for more details: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Furthermore, to put your transactions on the correct line of your Schedule C, you can check out this article for more guidelines: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Feel free to drop by and post your query you may have here to get assistance. I'm just a post away. Have a good one!

Bank Sync

Can you set QBO to automatically sync with your banks accounts at a selected time each day or maybe when you open QBO instead of having to manually sync the data? Users should be given a choice of auto sync or manual sync.

Bank Sync

Hi there, @userroy. We have details about syncing banks to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

As we read through your response, we recognized how the option to sync it automatically to your company file at any time of the day can help you save time managing bank transactions inside the program. Also, please know that QBO only depends on what data your bank provides, and with that said, you'll have to do it manually to refresh your bank and get the latest transactions flowing into your company.

For more details, please see this page: Download the most recent bank and credit card transactions in QuickBooks Online.
