If your company is based in Australia, you'll need a bank account there too.
Intuit offers QuickBooks Online International for non-US based companies.
If you’ve already purchased QBO US, I’d suggest canceling the subscription and sign up for QuickBooks Online International for Australlia.
To start the process, you can follow these steps to cancel the US version of QuickBooks. Here's how:
- Open a web browser on your computer.
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user.
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Account and settings.
- Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
- In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online. If you're canceling a trial, select Cancel trial.
- Follow the onscreen steps.
Once done, I recommend following these steps to subscribe to the version needed:
- Click this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.
- Select the region of QuickBooks.
- Choose your plan, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
