@tmac4, same here. guess we need to do this in the web interface. I hate updates...

Can anyone de-activate a customer after the current "update" that changed the EDIT function?

Let me help share how you can inactivate a customer, tmac4.

 

You can make the customer inactive by searching them on the Customers tab of the Sales menu. Also, QuickBooks Online has two different user interfaces and some features are only available in certain views.

 

Also, may I know if you are using supported browser when deactivating your customer? If so, you can attached screenshot and check us here if they have reported issues and investigate the cause so they can come up with the fix for this unexpected behavior.
