Can I pay an employee between payrolls for an added bonus via direct deposit? Not a contractor.

Yes, you can create an unscheduled payroll to send the added bonus to Direct Deposit. Just make sure the amount does not exceed the current limit for Direct Deposit so it can be processed by the system. Here's how: 

1. Go to the Payroll menu, then proceed to the Employees tab.
2. Click Run payroll.
3. Find the employee you want to pay, and then select Create another check.
4. Enter the amount of the bonus.
5. Confirm the pay period and check date.
6. Select Preview Payroll, and then select Submit payroll.
7. Click Finish payroll.

I was able to do a direct deposit unscheduled payroll check for a couple of employees....my question is when would it be direct deposited into their account?  The same day or the next day?
