Normally, the requirements for payroll processing in QBDT is a good internet connection and the time zone is set up correctly according to your location in USA. However, we want to make sure there aren't any interruption to the process so I recommend consulting our Support Team for this.
Our representatives can confirm if Desktop Payroll will allow you to process a pay run outside USA.

Another option if you're using Direct Deposit is processing the payroll in advance. You can create a pay run 45 days before the check date in QuickBooks.
