Can I use quick books to file W2-G gambling winnings forms?

Hi userhrhodes2017,

As of now, QuickBooks does not support W2-G. However, you can enter and file this form through ProConnect.

I've added this reference as your guide: Entering gambling winnings and losses in Lacerte Tax.

I'll be around if there's anything that I can help. Keep safe!

Can I use quick books to file W2-G gambling winnings forms?

Hi

how to record the amount you've won.

You can record it as income. Before doing so, I'd still recommend reaching out to your accountant so you'll be guided further.

Afterward, you can check this reference to know howSchedule C categories appear on reports: Schedule C categories.

Keep me posted if you have questions about categorizating transaction. I'll be around!

i just have same cinsern and got that type of reply from Mod team.

You'll need to input the relevant information, such as the date, amount, and type of gambling winnings, into QuickBooks. Once you have all of the information entered, QuickBooks can generate the W2-G form for you to file with the appropriate government agency.
