Let’s work together to ensure you can select an employee when running payroll in QuickBooks Online (QBO), t-bellofatto.
To determine if this is an issue related to your browser, I suggest using your browser's incognito mode. This will help identify if any browser extensions or cached data in your regular browsing mode are preventing you from selecting an employee when you run payroll. Depending on your browser type, you can use the following shortcuts:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
If you can successfully select an employee in incognito mode, proceed to clear your browser's cache for a fresh start. Additionally, I recommend using other devices and supported browsers to check if you also can do so.
In addition, you can run payroll reports to get a closer look at your business finances.
