Currently, you're unable to change the paid account for your payroll if you're using a direct deposit. I'll make sure to pass this along to our product team to let them know of your business need.
As a workaround, create a journal entry to transfer the balance incurred from your payroll. Please check this article for more information adjusting journal entry: Make And View Adjusting Journal Entries.
However, if this is only a paper check, you can delete the paycheck, update the bank account and then recreate the paycheck.
