Changing Master Admin in QuickBooks Time

I need to change the Master Admin for one of our clients because the person currently listed as Master left the company.  Chat support said I have to send them the Articles of Organization and Operating Agreement because it is an LLC.  Assuming my client would have AND agree to provide those documents, QuickBooks has to secure way to get the documents to them.  They want me to reply to an email they sent with those documents.  This doesn't make any sense to me or my client.  Is there some other way to get the Master Admin changed in QuickBooks Time?

You can not require people to turn in documents and refuse to give them a secure way to do so while citing the "security of their account."  That isn't security.  All you are accomplishing is great frustration and people looking for other options for time keeping.

We are having the same issue since the 29th of August. Thats whwn We provided the details requested. Have been calling multiple times. On hold at the moment. This is ridiculous! We are paying for this service! If it takes you more than a month just to change this, how are we supposed to trust your systems when we become bigger!!??

Changing Master Admin in QuickBooks Time

QBs Time changed our Master Administrator at time of QBs Premier Plus 2022 Desktop upgrade.  Oue TEST employee, which we had been using for other reasons had become the Administrator.  We sat for a gueling 1.5 hrs on the phone having the issue fixed.  TEST employee was made inactive, however has since been made the Administrator again through syncing.  

1.  TEST employee is not noted as an administrator in QBs Desktop nor anywhere else, other than QBs Time

2.  Unable to switch to new Admin in QBs Time and have no access to login as TEST employee

3.  Sending organizational documents via e-mail is not secure!

 

How do we re-fix this issue without calling another country?

QBs Time was much easier to manage under TSheets and have had poor customer service with Intuit.

Since your primary admin was changed and you're not able to sign in as that user, I'd recommend getting in touch with our QuickBooks Time Care Team. They'll be able to pull up the account in a secure environment and help fix your admin.

 

They can be reached while you're signed in.

 

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Time.
  2. Click the Find answers and get help (?) icon.
  3. Choose Contact Us.
  4. Explain what you're contacting Intuit about in your What can we help you with? text box.
  5. Hit Continue.
  6. Select Chat with us or Call us.

 

Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.
