Changing payroll bank account

Hey there, Amart-Katragadda.

 

The QuickBooks Community has your back.  If you need to change the bank account information for QuickBooks Online Payroll I can assist. Follow these steps: 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Payroll Settings.
  2. Under Bank Accounts, select Company.
  3. In the Connect your Bank account page, select Update.
  4. Select Connect using your routing and account numbers to enter new bank account information.
  5. Enter your new bank account information, then select Submit.
  6. Review the info about verifying your bank account, and select OK, got it.
  7. After making the changes, update your bank account in the accounting preferences.  Go to Settings ⚙, then Payroll Settings. This ensures the paychecks processed through the new bank account are properly listed in the correct check register.
