Create 2 different payroll schedules, one for Thursday and one for Friday.

okay so I go to pay employees  click on payroll schedule and set up one for Thursday and one for Friday correct?

Yes.  You will then have to run them separately, and if it is direct deposit the Thursday payroll will have to be submitted to Intuit a day earlier than the Friday one.

Not on the same paycheck, as a paycheck only has one date.

You can created paychecks with different dates and send them all at once.

okay sorry i did't make my self clear I have some employees that get paid on Thursday and some on Friday  need to know the one on Thursday they are 3 that can be paid then and the rest be paid on Friday on direct depoist

I'm not sure what you are describing.  Please restate.  You can pay any employee any time you want. QB doesn't care.
