Let’s double check your payroll product, @Jpowers1612. I'll share some details as two why your 2-day lead time reduces to one day when processing payroll through QuickBooks Desktop.
You’ll have a Next-day (1-day) funding time if you use QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Assisted. This implies that after you send us your payroll, your employees will be paid on the next banking day. Kindly be informed that weekends or holidays will affect the processing of your payroll.
For an instance, you’ll need to approve your paychecks by the prior Thursday if your payday falls on a Monday holiday. This way, your account will be debited on Friday as well as your employees.
Please also know that a Monday holiday will also affect your paycheck on Tuesday. Payroll should be submitted one day earlier than usual if payday falls on a holiday.
However, you’ll have a 2-day financing time if you use QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Basic, Standard, or Enhanced. This means that your employees will be paid two banking days after you send us your payroll.
Since it’s important to pay your employees on time, you’ll want to learn when to send your payroll. For the details about its process, visit this article: Direct deposit lead time.
It’s also best to contact our Payroll Support Team during the support hours regarding the $100.00 fee. They have the tools to securely pull up your company file. From there, you can also request to have them review your funding time.
