We were alerted to a third-party issue with direct deposit processing this morning that has delayed the deposit of employees' paychecks into their accounts. The issue has been resolved and your employees should expect to see the funds available in their bank account by end of the day today.

Direct Deposit Issue

We recently asked our bank to block our account for fraud and it has been unblocked now. And everything is working perfectly except direct deposit. I cannot make a direct deposit in QB desktop - and do not want to write live checks every week. Please help our direct deposit to be linked up correctly - thank you.

Considering the details you've shared, it appears that your payroll account may be temporarily suspended in order to process a Direct Deposit (DD) due to your bank blocking your account. In this case, I highly suggest contacting our Payroll Support team. They possess specialized tools that can securely access your account and investigate the matter on your behalf.

 

Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Continue.
  4. Sign in to your Intuit account and select Continue and then Continue with my account.
  5. We'll email you a single-use code. Enter your code and select Continue.
  6. Choose to chat with us or Have us call you.
