Direct deposit set up but when sign in says trying to get info and problem occurred?

Welcome to the Community forum, Robin. I'm glad you're here.

Let me assist you in resolving the issue you're encountering while signing into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Once you've set up Direct Deposit, you shouldn't face any problems signing in. However, to ensure that we're on the same page, I'd like to know precisely on which page you saw the message.

Meanwhile, I suggest you try some troubleshooting steps to investigate the cause of the problem. You can log in to your QBO account via an incognito mode or a private window. This will confirm whether the cache is causing the issue.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

If it works, go to your default browser and clear the cache. See Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online for more information.

However, if the issue persists, switch to a different browser like Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari. Your current browser may be having a temporary problem with QuickBooks, and using a new browser for the time being will allow you to resume your work.
