QuickBooks Online payroll doesn't support ITIN per IRS regulation. It only accepts numerical character in the Social Security Number field.
An ITIN is a tax processing number issued by the IRS to foreign nationals and individuals. Those who are not eligible for U.S. employment and need identification for other tax purposes.
