Does anyone have any insight whether or not we can pull a report to track overtime wages? We've had nothing but problems since switching from Intuit online payroll 2yrs ?

Our audits are requesting specific overtime wages and this basic payroll summary is ****, and we don't see a command or option to add the overtime as a separate column to the report

I can help you with pulling up a report that shows overtime wages, @NorthZoneConstructionInc.

You can run the Payroll Details report in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This report gives you detailed info on your employee's payroll. It'll show you overtime hours and wages per employee.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Business overview, select Reports, then select Standard.
  2. Scroll down to the Payroll section, look and click to generate Payroll Details.
  3. Set the date range.
  4. Click the Customize button to set the report to include Total and details
  5. Make sure to select the check boxes for Gross Pay and Hours
  6. Don't forget to click the Run report button to pull up the report.

You can also run the Total Pay report. It'll show you the total wages for the Overtime of your employees for the specific date range.

For more information about different reports available, check out this article: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll. It'll show you a list of payroll reports, guide you on how to customize, and print your reports.
