After last name if used (Tech). I need to invite to View MyPaychecks but won't accept (Tech) If I inactivate the current name and reenter last name (without Tech) How does this effect my current year's payroll and taxes? Is their some other way to correct this?
If the word Tech is part of the employee's name, it should appear in their W2s. Therefore, not having it will affect their taxes. I would recommend reaching out to our Support to check this further.
