Employee advances in QBO payroll do not function properly

After months, we still cannot get the payroll system to point advance repayments to the current other asset account called Employee Advances.  QBO support today, refused to open an escalated case! This is payroll 101.  Anyone have any out of the box ideas?

Did you ever get them to admit to their error and/or get this fixed?

 

I read these sorts of posts with horror. You'd never have such an issue using QB Desktop Payroll.

Hi Big Red,

 

Nope...so I am moving to get a new payroll service provider. I do not want to waste my time each month having to cleanup stuff like this. Either be in the payroll service game fully or not. I do not want to be in test mode while QBO gets it together.

 

I agree about the desktop....Not sure why QBO can't follow some of the logic with the software coding.
