employee AND time

had one employee and two files in quickbooks, merged the two and now time is gone but the time still shows up in project reports, any help on resolving this, whether it be unmerge or have time come back to entries?

Since the time still appears in project reports, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps. You can log in to your account using a private browser. It's the best place to isolate what causes the issue you've been experiencing while doing your time entry.

 

You can use these shortcut keys on your keyboard to access incognito mode:

 

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+ Shift + P

 

If that works fine using a private browser, go back to your original browser and clear its cache so the system can start fresh. Also, using a different supported browser can help us dig deep into the root cause of this unexpected behavior.

 

Additionally, I'd recommend tracking your labor costs and profitability by project in QBO. This feature enables you to track how much money has been spent on labor for each task and make well-informed decisions about future projects.
