Note: The system wants me to create a new employee?? I do not want to do that because it could screw up W2's, and distort historical information.

I'm here to help you change your employee's name smoothly. Let's open the worker's profile and go to the Personal menu to update the information. I'll show you how to get there.

To maintain proper synchronization with your bank, updates to Payee information, previously used for online payments, are limited to address and phone number ONLY.
If you need to update the Payee Name or Account Number, please create a new payee.

However, since you encounter an error message, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They're able to pull up your account in a secure environment to deep investigate the root of the problem why the error appears and conduct screen-sharing sessions to see what you're seeing.
