Error 30134 occurs when sending direct deposits in QuickBooks Desktop. This error can be triggered by multiple unsuccessful attempts to send data due to an incorrect PIN or password. If this happens, the system will automatically lock your account as an additional layer of security. To fix this, let's reset your PIN through the Account Maintenance page or Send Payroll Data window and send the paychecks again.
Changing PIN in the Send Payroll Data window.
- Login to your QuickBooks company file as Admin.
- Go to Employees, then select Send Payroll Data.
- In the Send/Receive Payroll Data window, select Send.
- In the Payroll Service PIN window, select Forgot your PIN?
- Enter your QuickBooks company file Admin password.
- Select OK.
- Create a new PIN and confirm it.
- Select Submit.
To change your PIN in Payroll Account Maintenance Pages.
- From the Employees menu, select My Payroll Services, then Account/Billing Information.
- Sign in to your Intuit Account.
- In the Direct Deposit section, select the Update link next to the Direct Deposit PIN.
- Enter your current PIN, create a new PIN, and then confirm the new PIN.
- Click Submit.
If you can’t remember your PIN or are unable to change it in QuickBooks, you can change your PIN in the Send Payroll Data window.
- Download and complete the Direct Deposit PIN reset form.
- Have the Primary Principal or Secondary Principal sign the form.
- Get a photocopy of the primary or secondary principal's government-issued ID.
- Contact QuickBooks Desktop payroll support to submit the form, and ID via Intuit File Exchange.
- Once you receive an email from Intuit Payroll about the status of your request, contact us so we can generate a PIN for you.
