Every week I record a payment for federal taxes but they don’t take the money out my account. How do I pay my federal taxes?

Welcome to the Community, jblak333. You've come to the right place! I'd be more then happy to help you with this.

When using QuickBooks Online, you can record tax payments like you're doing, but it won't initiate a payment being made. I recommend to stop recording them manually, and instead signup for our payroll services. If you use payroll with us, we will make the tax payments automatically for you to keep track of liability.
Here are the steps to begin the signup process:
1. In the navigation bar on the left, move the cursor over the option for Workers.

2. Select Employees.
3. The screen that displays will direct you towards signing up for our Core, Premium, or Elite services. Choose which one works best for your business, and proceed with the signup process.
