Buy nowOur local jurisdiction had a wage tax rate change on July 1, 2023. QBO took until October to apply the rate to my employees despite multiple phone calls to Intuit customer service. Prior to the payroll corrections people making the rate change, they erroneously adjusted one of my employee's tax rate to 0%. Now, with only 2 payrolls left in this calendar year, Intuit customer service is not promising that this employee's corrections will be made before year-end.
If anyone on this forum can provide some assistance in advising me how to make the corrections on my own so that the withholding can be completed in 2023 and then, manually adjusting the W2 so the the correct information is presented for the one employee, I would appreciate it. I hope the other payroll processor that I am looking at has more competent people on their teams.
We understand the importance of your situation, @foxlock7936.

I have been trying to resolve this issue since July 5, 2023. Your "tax ops corrections" people have created MORE problems than they correct.
I've been reaching out to your "customer service representatives" almost daily since December 7, 2023 since we're running out of time for corrections to be done before year end. No one will help. In fact, I've been lied to more times than is fathomable.
I don't need your year end guides but thanks for the offer.
My patience has run out hence the topic of this post.
This issue has been a problem since July 5, 2023. Your "tax ops corrections" team has made more of a mess with this issue than they have been a help.
I have been reaching out to your "customer service representatives" almost daily since December 7, 2023 because we're running out of time to meet year end deadlines.
I don't need your year end guides but thanks for the offer.
I've been beyond patient which is the reason for the subject of this post.
