Buy nowA client of mine did not file Q1 2022 Form 941. This version is no longer available in Quickbooks and has writing all over it that the IRS will no accept it as this version is only for Q2 2022.
I went into an old backup of the file, but when prompted to update the file I said no and the file does not open unless you say yes.
The Form for Q1 is not even available on the IRS website.
How can I go about finding one ?
I know you cannot print a prior year version, but this is a 2022 form, but the IRS will no longer accept Q1 info on the current release of the form.
I welcome any ideas as I am sure I am not the only one that has a client with this issue.
Thanks for reaching out about Form 941 concerns. We'd want to ensure that you can get a copy of it, cm2497.
I recommend calling the IRS. This way, you'll be able to speak with them and get information where you can download the Form 941 for Q1. You can get their contact details from their website. Check out this link: IRS Help.
