I can see the urgency of updating your payroll service. This will help ensure taxes are calculated on your employees’ paychecks and payroll forms have the correct information.

We received reports from users that they’re unable to run payroll and taxes are not deducted on paychecks. Our engineers are all hands on deck working for the permanent solution.

1. Open QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), navigate to the Help icon at the top menu bar to select QuickBooks Desktop Help F1.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the window and click the Contact us link.
3. In the Tell us more about your question section, type your concern or issue in the field box. For example, PS038 when updating payroll.
4. Click the Search menu and then select Call us to save your spot in line and call you back or Message Us to chat with an agent.
5. Provide this number to speed up the process: INV-67366.

To my knowledge QB has done zero to correct this problem. Also the steps you laid out did nothing, we can't even get them to call us.
