Going from enhanced payroll to manual payroll and printing W-2

Company has been bought out.  Renewal for enhanced payroll was cancelled in November 2018.  When I try to process W-2s, it does not happen.  Do I have to prepare the W-2s & W-3 manually now?

You need an active subscription in order to process tax forms.  You don't have to do them manually. Instead sign up for a subscription again. I think (not sure) that if you call Intuit will sell you a two month subscription or something like that.

Use the Payroll Summary Report from the entire Calendar Year, and use any other W2 tool. You have your reporting; you just have not paid for Forms.
