Gross pay figured incorrectly

I am having the same issue with my QB Pro Plus 2022. Been using QB for over 15 years and never had this problem before. Some (not all) employees gross pay is off by .04-.05 cents on their paycheck. The next week, it might be different employees whose paychecks are off. There is no rhyme or reason that I can see- they might be overpaid or underpaid. Is there a glitch in the system? I have reached out to my accounting firm, and they don't know. I had a 3-hour phone call with Quick Books, and they couldn't fix it. They told me to email their online support and expect them to get back with me in 3-5 business days. I own a second company on a different QB license (QB Premier) and different location- same thing is happening with their payroll. I need help!!

Gross pay figured incorrectly

Hello, astepabove.

Hello, astepabove.

Thank you for being a loyal client of QuickBooks Desktop. I appreciate you for contacting our phone agents, and I'll take note of your experience with them.

It is our priority to keep your account safe from any possible fraudulent activities. That said, I'd suggest having us call you back by setting an appointment at your preferred time. If you have the case number of your previous interaction with the agent, you can give it to the new one so you don't have to explain your concerns again.

As additional resources in running payroll, you can check this reference: Create and run your payroll.

Feel free to get back to this thread whenever you have payroll concerns.

Gross pay figured incorrectly

I've generally found QuickBooks to be very reliable and consistent in this area.

Do you have an example you can share?

I suspect is has to do with rounding partial hours/minutes, where the rounding is different than your expectation.
