Hello, I need a W9 from Quickbooks for our records

You can get a copy of the W-9 form through the Employee Forms section in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Below are the steps to complete the process:

 

  1. Click Employees at the top menu bar.
  2. Choose Employee Forms.
  3. Hit Federal W-9 (1099 Vendors).x.PNG

You also have the to option download the form directly from the IRS website. Just go to https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf.
