Hello, I need a W9 from Quickbooks for our records

A warm welcome to the Community, cmartinez1.

You can get a copy of the W-9 form through the Employee Forms section in QuickBooks Desktop.

Below are the steps to complete the process:

  1. Click Employees at the top menu bar.
  2. Choose Employee Forms.
  3. Hit Federal W-9 (1099 Vendors).x.PNG

You also have the to option download the form directly from the IRS website. Just go to https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf.

If you require more information about this form and its process, see Forms and Associated Taxes for Independent Contractors or you can contact the IRS at 800-829-3676.

If I can be of assistance while working in QuickBooks, please let me know. I'd be glad to help and provide additional insights. Have a great day!
